Pokémon Pokopia's second paid expansion, Dazzling Decorations, launches on December 9, 2026, bringing dress-up accessories, more Pokémon and new furniture to the Nintendo Switch 2 life sim. It will not add another town: the official Expansion Pass page reserves a new place to explore and rebuild for Part 3 in 2027.
This installment lets Ditto coordinate outfits with its Pokémon neighbors. Sunglasses, ribbons and bow ties are among the accessories, while Doduo, Skitty, Braixen and Snubbull join the Pokémon players can befriend.
Nintendo had previously given Part 2 a late-2026 window. The December date follows Bubbly Basin, the pass's first installment, which introduced an underwater town.
What you need to play Dazzling Decorations
The three-part Expansion Pass costs $34.99 on the US Nintendo eShop. That purchase covers all three installments, but requires the separately sold base game. Nintendo's earlier feature announcement also specifies that individual DLC parts cannot be bought separately.
Owning the pass is not the only requirement. Before starting Dazzling Decorations, players must install the free version 3.0.0 software update and complete three requests:
- “Raise the environment level!” in Withered Wasteland.
- “Rebuild the Pokémon Center!” in Withered Wasteland.
- Drifloon's “Find a doll!” request.
Those are the progression requirements listed for Part 2, distinct from Bubbly Basin's requirement to learn Dive and finish the environment-level request in Bleak Beach.
Pass buyers also receive a recipe for dynamic Ditto print blocks and wallpaper. It can be claimed through the main menu's Downloadable Content option by selecting Check Items, then Receive.
