Peak is coming to PlayStation 5 on October 22, with crossplay letting players climb together in groups of up to four across platforms. The PS5 version will also include every content update, biome and item added since the game's original launch.

Team Peak, the collaboration between Aggro Crab and Landfall, announced the release on PlayStation Blog. Peak first launched on Steam on June 16, 2025, so the crossplay support means friends joining on PS5 can team up with existing PC players.

You play as a lost nature scout trying to escape an island by reaching its summit, either alone or with up to three friends. Climbing is only part of the problem: hunger and injuries eat into your stamina, leaving less room for mistakes as you work your way up. Helping friends over ledges and placing ropes can give the rest of the group a route to follow.

The island's layout changes every 24 hours, according to the Steam listing. Groups can keep attempting the same map during that day, then face a different layout after it rotates.

PS5 players will also get custom runs, which let groups adjust the difficulty and hazards. Team Peak names tornadoes, poison clouds, birds and zombies among the dangers, and confirms that the option to kick your friends is included in custom runs too.

The October 22 announcement does not give a PS5 price.
