The Division 2's Echoes of Central Park DLC is out today, November 3, opening New York's Upper West Side and Central Park for a horror-inspired campaign and replayable endgame. It supports solo and co-op play, with a boost available to bring characters below level 40 up to the required level.

Returning agents should check their loadouts: Ubisoft's launch announcement says Prototype Gear is normalized inside the DLC at release to preserve its intended difficulty. The developers plan to restore its full strength there later, but have not given a date.

The expansion is available for PC, PS4, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. Ubisoft's US PC Deluxe listing costs $29.99 and explicitly requires the base game. That edition includes outfits inspired by the three new companions and a skin for the new Exotic weapon; the level boost does not make this a standalone release.

Central Park starts with agents on the defensive

Inside the park, agents lose GPS assistance and face continuous waves of enemies while being hunted by a new threat. Repeated visits let players gather gear and learn more about their opponent, eventually giving them the means to take the offensive.

Individual fights also change what comes next. Successful encounters grant rewards that help players continue, while poor results leave them at a disadvantage. New loot includes The Ratel Exotic weapon and a gear set, alongside six skill variants, with Corrosive Trap and The Gas Bomber among those named by Ubisoft.

Companions add another choice to each run. Agents can earn the trust of sniper Brayleigh Callahan, protector Elwood Franklin and assault specialist Morse Feeney, then bring one of them into their party at a time. Switching companions for replayed missions changes both combat support and the dialogue heard along the way.

The campaign begins outside the park, with missions across the Upper West Side, including the Natural History Museum. A narrator recounts events through flashbacks as agents investigate disappearances and rumors of a new virus variant. Ubisoft describes the playable map as much larger than Battle for Brooklyn's, with the story set in the summer after Warlords of New York.

Crossplay is still two weeks away

The DLC has arrived on the previously announced November 3 date, but friends on different platforms cannot team up yet. Ubisoft's Y8S3.3 patch notes schedule PC, PlayStation and Xbox crossplay for November 17.

Today's changes introduce crossplay icons and interface updates only. PC players move to the new servers on November 10, resetting PC leaderboards, before console players join on November 17. Leaderboards will be hidden across all platforms until then. Once crossplay goes live, it will be enabled by default, with an opt-out at character selection.
