The Division 2's Echoes of Central Park DLC launches on November 3, taking agents into Manhattan's sealed-off Upper West Side and Central Park. Its new campaign adds companions with unlockable combat abilities, while the park itself becomes a replayable endgame area where players initially enter as prey.

Crossplay will follow the DLC, not arrive fully switched on at launch. In its showcase breakdown, Ubisoft says implementation and platform migration begin after the expansion releases, with a gradual rollout throughout November. The target is full availability by Season 4's launch.

Ubisoft had already announced a November crossplay window at Gamescom. Its earlier explanation of the feature says it will be enabled by default, with an option to disable it at character selection. Players who turn it off will only encounter others on their own platform. Clans will also become cross-platform, with capacity increasing from 50 to 100 members.

Central Park's campaign leads into a new endgame

Echoes of Central Park starts with a distress call from Veer Corp CEO Miranda Veer. A rescue mission runs into an unknown threat, leaving agents to investigate the disappearances and rumors surrounding the park before returning to confront it.

The playable area covers the Upper West Side and Central Park, with Ubisoft putting its size at roughly twice that of Battle for Brooklyn. Campaign locations include Lincoln Square and the Dakota district. Companions gain abilities as players earn their trust, and six new skill variants can be taken back into the main game. The DLC also adds The Ratel Exotic weapon and a new gear set.

The endgame changes the balance of power over repeated visits. At first, enemies flood Central Park while another threat stalks players. As agents uncover its mysteries and grow stronger, they can return to hunt the enemies that previously hunted them. Ubisoft describes a horror-inspired setting, but the announcement does not identify the threat behind it.

Preorders and the Survivors test program

The DLC includes a Level 40 boost and expanded stash space. Preorders add the NY Purifier Mask at launch, while Deluxe includes three companion-inspired outfits and an Exotic weapon skin.

Ubisoft's US PC Deluxe listing is priced at $29.99 and explicitly requires the base game. The boost does not make this a standalone release.

Separately, registration is open for the Survivors Test Program, covering the upcoming extraction expansion. Signing up gives players a chance to join future tests and provide feedback on work-in-progress builds; it does not guarantee a place.
