Bloober Team's remake of the original Silent Hill is reportedly targeting a 2027 release, according to MP1st's October 26 report. The outlet also names Gabrielle Fritz and Jade Matthew as cast members, though it could not establish which characters they will play.
The release target is not a confirmed launch window. MP1st cautions that production schedules can change, and neither Konami nor Bloober Team has announced 2027 for the remake.
Konami announced the project at its June 2025 Press Start showcase, with a brief reveal showing the Silent Hill logo and an in-development message. It gave no release date or platforms. A platform lineup remains unconfirmed, so the new report does not establish where players will be able to buy it.
This is a return to Harry Mason's story from the 1999 PlayStation game, in which he searches the town for his missing adopted daughter, Cheryl. It is separate from Bloober's Silent Hill 2 remake, which follows James Sunderland. The reported casting does not identify a new actor for Harry.
MP1st says casting is taking place under the name “Project Noise” and describes “Project G” as a previously rumoured internal name for the remake.
Fritz's previous game credits include Battlefield 2042 and Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus. Matthew's screen work includes EastEnders and Doctors. MP1st suggests supporting characters from the original game as possible roles for the pair, but it has not tied either actor to a specific character.
