GTA 6 buyers waiting for reviews may have only the day before launch to make their choice. A new report puts the review embargo on November 18, ahead of the game's November 19 release on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.

Insider Gaming says it independently verified the November 18 date first shared by NateTheHate. Rockstar has not publicly confirmed the embargo.

The date, also covered by Rockstar Report, adds a specific target to the earlier report that GTA 6 reviews would appear before launch. On October 14, Insider Gaming said it knew a preliminary embargo but would not disclose it because the timing could change. Its latest report now names the date.

That would put reviews after the start of preloading. Rockstar's official preorder announcement says digital preorder customers can begin downloading on November 12. Boxed editions contain a download code and will be available from the same date to support preloading. Buyers who want to read verdicts before committing would therefore be waiting until six days after that download window opens, if the reported embargo holds.

Review access is a separate question from when coverage can appear. In his October 26 post on X, NateTheHate also says Rockstar has begun distributing review codes to media outlets. He does not identify recipients, and Rockstar has not confirmed the rollout.

Neither the post nor Insider Gaming's report gives an embargo hour, so the precise gap between reviews and release remains unclear. November 18 is a reported date for public verdicts, not a confirmed Rockstar announcement.
