Mafia: The Old Country joins the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog on October 20, alongside a day-one PS5 release for Mycopunk and the return of Horizon Forbidden West. The games are part of October's additions for Extra and Premium subscribers, but the rollout starts earlier and runs beyond that date.

The Midnight Walk is available today, October 14, in the US and UK, with Japan following on October 15. Three more games arrive on October 27 in those markets, according to Sony's announcement.

Mycopunk is the new-release addition: its PS5 launch puts the mission-based looter shooter straight into the catalogue worldwide on October 20. It supports four-player co-op, with a squad of robots fighting a fungal infestation. Mafia offers a single-player crime story set in early-1900s Sicily, while Horizon Forbidden West brings Aloy's machine-hunting adventure back to the service on both PS4 and PS5.

These catalogue games are separate from Essential's monthly games. Sony's membership comparison puts Game Catalog access in Extra and Premium, with access dependent on an active membership and games remaining in the catalogue. Sony also warns that lineups can vary by region, so check your local PlayStation Store on the relevant release day.
